You only need to glance at your socials to realise that dogs go missing all the time but you won’t know how scary it is until it happens to you. I never considered putting a tracking device on Ted until he bolted on a walk. I only let my dog off the lead in big open spaces far from the danger of a main road but it only took an exciting squirrel sighting for Ted to take off at high speed not to be seen again for 30 minutes.
