AD | Simba Hybrid Duvet Review

white bed linen with white pillows

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I take shopping for sleep essentials very seriously. I have a go-to brand for bedding, pillows and matress toppers so I’m really excited to share this duvet brand with you because until now I haven’t really had a brand that I would recommend. I never realised how much impact a duvet could have on the quality of your sleep. That was before I sent my old one to the launderette and had to swap it out with the one from the spare bed. It took me a few days to connect the poor sleep with the duvet but it really was a lightbulb moment. But what features make a duvet great and what should you be looking out for?

Because, while we all love a good night’s sleep, a luxe bed set-up is about so much more than catching Zzzzs. I love a lie-in in and I love an early night and my bed is truly my sanctuary that I love hopping into so let’s dive in and chat about this new addition to my bedroom.

My favourite thing about this duvet is that it’s a 10.5 tog which means it’s ideal for year-round use. Which means… no faffing. Just a duvet that’s soft and cloud-like regardless of the season. I also liked that it came in a handy storage bag which is great if you need a duvet for guests or a room that isn’t used very often. Simba claims that their Hybrid duvet offers exceptional comfort and superb temperature control via its Stratos Technology and the outer is made from 100% cotton. It’s this technology that keeps you warm and cosy in the winter months and cool in the summer. It’s machine washable which, again, is another tick.

The best bit is that the duvet provides hotel-like quality to your sleeping experience. It’s cosy without being too heavy and its smart piped design means it looks just as luxurious as it feels.

If, like me, you worry your sleep essentials are giving you a bad back, you can read about the 8 signs that your mattress is causing you back pain on the Simba website.
