Pink Gin Fizz with Fentimans

As it’s Christmas Eve, I thought I’d share with you an easy peasy cocktail recipe that you can surprise your guests with over the festive season. To be honest, this little gem is great for any occassion. If you plan to come to my house over Christmas, you can expect these on tap. Why not surprise your next visitor with something chic and fizzy? Introducing the easy peasy pink gin fizz.

My favourite thing about this cocktail is that it’s a long drink but it’s super refreshing (and completely effortless). Simply dig out your finest flutes (you can find mine here) add a shot of slow gin and fill a quarter way with Fentimans Rose Lemonade.  With only three ingredients, it isn’t overly flashy but simple and elegant and easy to drink.

Top up your glass with bubbles of your choice. Any kind of champagne or Prosecco will do.

The sloe gin and rose lemonade make a superb combination. Alternatively, you could also drop in a dollop of raspberry sorbet. I’m obsessed with putting sorbet in cocktails, it kind of my signature.

If you prefer something a little less sweet, swap the rose lemonade for the Fentimans Grapefruit tonic for a shaper tangy finish.

This is the perfect christmassy cocktail. Tweet me if you decide to make this for your Mum on Mothering Sunday!
