The Lush Spa Event Leeds

Last week I went to a lovely event at Lush Spa in Leeds to celebrate their 4th Birthday. I had no idea that that behind that shop front was a spa that would make you feel like an extra from Alice in wonderland. While I can’t promise Johnny Depp will make an appearance, I can promise that complete relaxation awaits and there’s cake if you’re lucky.

The night began with a showcase of their signature treatments and we look on in awe as divine smelling massage bars were melted before our very eyes.

The Comforter

This treatment is a full body massage and is the ultimate relaxation experience for girly girls. There is a full body chocolate scrub followed by a massage that will leave your skin smelling divine.

Next up? The Validation facial. Lush don’t do things by halves and this fabulous facial includes everything from a scrumptious scrub to soothing temple balm and magical moisturisers. Each facial is tailored to your skin type and products are chosen to complement your specific needs. I plan to treat my BFF to this when she next comes to stay.

Now on to my favourite treatment of the night. The Spell. By the time I’d heard all about this treatment I knew this was one I needed to try.

The spell is designed to empower you and leave you feeling ready to take on the world. Focusing on the feet, this is an indulgent treatment that will leave you spellbound.

The Spa itself is designed like a quaint cottage, it’s my cup of tea. There is a feeling that you might have fallen down a rabbit hole into a completely different world. After a tour of the spa, I wondered around the shop floor mentally making a wish list.

We finished off the fun evening with a slice of vegan cake that was surprisingly delicious and signed the supersized Lush birthday card before saying our goodbyes. Have you visited Lush Spa? x
