Blitz your Way to a Victoria Secret Body with Zaggora

So with only six weeks until Christmas, I’ve been thinking of new ways to look fabulous in my Christmas party dress. It all started with the Victoria Secret fashion show and the realisation that if I wanted my ass to look angel-esque this Xmas, it wasn’t going to happen sitting on it.

Step 1-Get the Gear

Weirdly enough, I arrived at work the very next day to find a package on my desk from the lovely team at Zaggora. I ripped it open to find their fabulous upper body range and I couldn’t wait to try it out.  A huge thank you to Dinah for helping me on my quest for an angel-esque physique. The hot top and the body blazer are made from the same fat blitzing material as the coveted Zaggora hotpants and they keep you toasty on those chilly outdoor runs. There is even a handy little pocket for your keys and an arm pocket for your phone!




Having the right work out gear can give you a little push to get out there. I’ve made a pact with my BFF to run four times a week on the run up to Xmas but I also want to mix it up a bit so I don’t get bored and give up. This got me thinking how Victoria Secret angels prepare for shows.

Get Going

Pilates

If you thought Pilates was all about starfishing on a yoga matt, think again. Angels use complex Pilates moves to improve their posture and create lean physiques that are toned to perfection. The results? Perky bums and perfect posture. Lilly Donaldson and Mirranda Kirr and big fans. Just one hour class a week can make a big difference.

Skipping

Not just for the playground, skipping is an integral part of a Victoria Secret Angel’s workout and is a form of cardio that Doutzen Kroes swears by when getting runway ready. The result? Sculpted arms and abs.

Boxing

Ever wondered how Adrianna Lima sculpts her arms? Boxing. The great thing about boxing is it’s an all over body workout and creates a strong core. The results? A killer physique.

Resistance Training

Resistance bands are ideal when you want to create a lean, strong body minus the bulk. The Result? Honed and toned.
