Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year and of course the perfect excuse for a party. Gather your friends and host the ultimate Halloween party complete with spooky snacks and dramatic décor. No Halloween party is complete without a pumpkin or two but if like me, you can’t carve a decent looking pumpkin to save your life, you can always swap the carving knife for a splash of paint and a sprinkling of glitter.

Don’t have hours to create stunning rustic designs with paper mache? One of the easiest ways to create impressive pumpkins for any party is to simply add a few crystals. Hobby craft stock self-stick crystals to save you the hassle of glueing each and every one. Cover the stalk with a splash of metalic paint and voila!

Spray paint your pumpkins white and use a stencil to personalise your pumpkin for any occasion. Add black crystals and tie black lace around the stalk in a bow to finish.

Don’t be scared to experiment with colours. Pumpkins look great in every colour.
If you don’t want to mess around with stencils, paint or crystals, you can still create pretty mini pumpkins with glitter and glue.
