AD | Revive Collagen Review

After being ill recently I’m overhauling everything I put in my body. However, while the vigorous workouts and the lean and clean diet may falter once the weekend comes, a few little healthy habits will stick and for me, it’s usually supplements. I love taking supplements on a morning as it reminds me first of all to drink water which I am notoriously bad at and supplements are helping me keep my first new year’s resolution which is to let something other than coffee be the first thing that passes my lips when I wake up. When I was asked to review Revive Collagen I jumped at the chance.

This isn’t the first time I’ve tried to insert collagen into my diet but the supplement I tried before was in powder form in a big tub and measuring it out was tedious so that tub is still in my cupboard and not in the smoothies I vowed to take. This made Revive Collagen immediately more appealing as it comes in measured out sachets that you simply drink each day! There are other factors that make it appealing such as the chic packaging and the fact that the brand ambassador is the lovely Amanda Holden and don’t we all want to look as youthful as she does? But for the people who aren’t blinded by pretty packages and marketing, let me tell you more about this product so you can decide whether you want to add it to your morning routine.

So, when the box arrives it has no wasteful packaging, it simply arrives as it is (brownie points) and inside are 14 sachets each containing 8,500 MG of Hydrolysed Merine Collagen, aloe vera juice and Hyaluric Acid. Basically youth in a sachet. I don’t need to tell you how great collagen is for your skin, as we age, we lose it but taking a supplement can help to top up the college levels in your skin and replenish what we lose over time. Scary fact coming here but our collagen levels start to deplete once we reach 18.

Now, of course, the results of this product will be different for everyone but I have noticed that my skin looks fresher when I’m makeup free at the gym or on the nursery run. I’m 36 so my collagen levels will be very different to how they looked at 18 so I think this little morning ritual is one I’m going to keep up and monitor the results.
