Estrid Razor Subscription Review

It’s been AGES since I received a PR sample that I got excited about sharing with you guys. But when this little pastel pink box came in the mail, I couldn’t wait to review it. I think it’s because I’m so into self-care these days, that and the fact I spend at least 40% of my evenings in the bath. So, this little vegan razor was promptly added to my bath caddy. I was kindly gifted the Estrid starter pack but I’m under no obligation to post about it.

Now, I love the stress free element that a subscription offers, and I’ve tried a couple out in the past but I’ve always ended up canceling them because they were more of a luxury rather than a necessity. Flower subscriptions, beauty boxes, and healthy meals have all landed in my letterbox but I’ve never applied the convenience of a subscription service to my shaving routine. But when I think about it, one of the main reasons I succumb to a Boots shop is because my razor blades need replacing and then I end up with 456 items in my basket just because I’m there. Wouldn’t it be nice if those blades came in the mail as and when I needed them? Well, yes it would!

So how much is it? and how does it work? Well, first you choose your colour, I opted for the blush, then you pay £7.95 for a starter kit. This includes the razor, a handy little wall holder and two blades. I usually spend £5 for one razor and one blade so this would already be a saving for me. Then you can sign up for packs of four blades (for £9.95) to be delivered as and when you need them.

Another thing I like is that it’s completely cruelty free. Oh and when you purchase, a portion of your money goes to a womens rights charity. Something else my old razor never did. So, I’m happy I upleveled my shaving routine, will you be trying out a razor subscription?
