How to Do Las Vegas the Luxury Way

I’ve been to Vegas five times in total and I’ve only blogged about it once which is kinda crazy seeing as it’s my favourite place in the whole world. It’s full of non-judgemental, fun-seeking people who just want to have the best time they can before they have to go back to reality and it has zero kitsch control. I put together a huge guide back in November, bookmark it if you plan to visit soon as it has all kinds of useful info as well as all the things we did during our flying 4-day visit. However, that post is all about how to have a well-rounded Vegas trip and I thought it would be fun to put together a luxe itinerary together  just in case you are visiting for a special occasion or simply want to splash the cash because if you’re going to experience the high life, there’s really no better place. Here’s just a few things that I would do if money were no object.

Fly Private

We always take the cheapest route to Vegas as I’d rather save my pennies for the glitzy casinos and shows, but if I had all the money in the world (try getting that song out of your head) I would fly private. I mean. Can you imagine anything better than avoiding that dreaded 10-hour commercial flight? Don’t have your own jet? You can charter one here and enjoy high-speed free wifi, a spacious cabin and fine dining. Yes please!

Book a Two Storey Sky Villa

Vegas is packed to the brim with stunning hotels, but I’ve always wanted to stay at The Palms and rent a Sky Villa for the weekend. These duplex villas have the most incredible views of the strip and they come with their very own private butler. Did I mention the private pool that towers over Vegas, the massage suite, the sauna and a private glass elevator? I always wonder what people actually ask private butlers to do? Is it just basically a more fun drink service or can they bring you cake around the clock? Snacks on tap? Can you give you Kardashian style braids? What about a trip to Walgreens to get more shimmery tan supplies? Fake tan my back? Emergency pizza at 4am? More importantly, will they take outfit shots from high flattering angles? I need to know this info.

Schedule in a Spa Day at the Cosmopolitan

After a couple of days in sin city, there’s no better way to recover from your trip than a spa day. There is the most incredible Moroccan themed spa in the Cosmopolitan hotel and it has a treatment called the Moroccan Journey that comes in at a pricey £1300. Desert rituals, a delightful Hammam and massages from top to toe are included.

Be a VIP

You have to see a show in Vegas but one way to add a little luxury to the experience is to rent your own VIP suite. Press a button and you have champagne and cocktails on tap as well as the best views in the house. The Cirque Du Solei has never looked so good.

Order an ONO

Feeling flush? How about a cocktail with a difference? At XS nightclub at the Wynn, you can experience the Ono which is a delicious blend of Charles Heidsieck champagne and Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac to the tune of $10,000 per bottle. As a thank you for splashing the cash, this tipple comes with a pair of silver cufflinks and a black pearl pendant. Fancy smanshy.

The Ultimate Party Package

Have a lot of friends? Why not fly 50 of them out to Las Vegas and celebrate at Drais nightclub with 100 bottles of Dom. You’ll also get a 3-minute firework display in your honour.

In a city designed for indulgence, there are endless ways to spend money. Have you been to Vegas? What’s the most indulgent purchase you’ve made on holiday? For me it’s countless fancy rum-filled coconuts and epic cocktails.
