The Luxe Car Essentials 2018 Edit #AD

car
As you know, this year I’m trying to better myself and be altogether more organised. I’ve realised that my car is integral to this. Simple things like having my fuel topped up (no more petrol roulette) and having a clean and tidy interior rather than having to fight off a flurry of Twirl wrappers every time I open the door mean that I actually get places on time and I’m not beyond embarrassed when I have to give someone an unexpected lift somewhere.  You’ll also get extra points when you are the designated driver and you have car snacks, hair styling tools and a handy charging device. Here are the luxury items you never knew that you needed but want none the less.

In Car Stylers

Yep, these exist! So, you know when you have to go straight from the gym to dinner or you might be going to a concert from work, but you don’t have time to go home and do your hair? #firstworldproblems Well, now you don’t have to. You can create perfect curls or tame frizz on the go with these car stylers. Just plug them into your charge point.

Driving Flats

Any excuse to buy a new pair of flats! *guilty face* I’m forever ruining my heels by driving in them so I like to leave a spare pair in the car for easy access. I just so happen to have found the perfect pair? Oh and yep, they are Sophia Webster. *apologises to bank balance*

Mini Car Vacuum

No time for a valet? Ged rid of those cake crumbs, rogue fries or dog hair with this super glam vacuum. Perfect to stash in the boot for those can I get a lift moments.

Dual Car Charger

Upgrade your single car charger to a dual charger so you can charge your phone and your passenger’s phone too. If your phone dies 4678 times per day, this TomTom charger is perfect and you don’t have to fight over who gets to charge. Short journey? Stash this cute portable charger pack in your glove box and charge on the move.

Toiletry Bag

For the queen of forgetfulness. When you just need a spray of deodorant, a spritz of dry shampoo, a lippy top up or you need to brush your teeth before the dentist. I heard that Kourtney Kardashian keeps a toiletry bag packed in her home so when she goes away she doesn’t need to waste time decanting or packing products. So, why not create an in-car version so that you have everything you need to hand. This Kate Spade bag is perfect.

Car Snacks

Because, what is a journey without snacks? Traffic? It’s ok, we have Haribo. Stash some posh chocolate in your glove box for emergencies.

Spotted Thermal Mug

Brrrrrrrrr. This portable mug is great for green tea on the go.

Dash Cam

This clever little gadget records footage so if the worst happens and you have a bump, it saves the footage in case there isn’t a witness around at the time.

Blanket

I always like to keep a blanket in the boot just in case and this one has pom poms which are cute and cosy. Ideal if you break down or your passenger likes to nap.

Lastly, it’s worth having a pack of face wipes in a compartment. Great to pull out after a sweaty gym session or to clean muddy paw prints from your leather seats.

What are your luxe in-car extras?
