Simple Home Updates for the Season Ahead

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you’ll know that I love nothing more than a few little home decor updates now and then and so I thought I’d put together a little post to show you how I update my decor for a new season. Just a few updates here and there can breathe new life into your home and these funky ideas will make you fall in love with it all over again. If you have no willpower when it comes to buying shiny things, I’ll apologise now. Here are a few things I’ve been loving of late.

Pretty Pendant Lighting: A statement light design can really transform a space and at the moment I have a thing for pendant styles. This stunning gold disc design will instantly draw the eye and makes a beautiful focal point in any room. Just look at how it shines.

Faux Flowers: If like me, you got bored of replacing those fresh flowers every week, you might want to give faux flowers a chance. I bought some stunning silk Peonies from Homesense a few months ago and they are still going strong. They make great blog post props too! *applauds*

Inspiring Prints: Newsflash! I’m finally getting my home office in order and I picked up the most incredible print to go above my desk. So many people asked me where this print with the Chanel surfboard was from and you can shop it here. Nothing transforms a room like some beautiful prints and I can’t wait to buy a frame for this one. WARNING. It makes me want to go on holiday everytime I glance at it.

Notebooks: Nothing to see here. Just the cutest set of notebooks on the planet. Not much makes me as happy as a stack of new notebooks and the rose gold stripes on this little notebook trio stole my heart.

Contemporary clocks: Sticking to the rose gold theme (as always), just look at this adorable wall clock. I only have one clock in my house and this one is stylish yet affordable. *buys four*

Trays and Trinkets: I’m guilty of stockpiling trays and trinkets but this one is calling my name. I love the pink marble design and the rose gold text that reads Nameste. There is also a matching notebook. Just saying.

Blush Cushions: Yes, I’m still obsessed with blush tones and I need a stack of these in my life. Can you really have too many cushions? oh. At £150 per pop, I’ll just take the one.

Marble Candles: This month I’ve added to my candle colection and I now own approx 34785. If you need a marble fix, toddle on down to TK MAXX where you can find lots of lovely marble designs.
