The Go-To Christmas Gift Guide

XMAS GIFT GUIDE

So, I’m going to do a few Christmas gift guides this year and the first one is going to be all about those go-to gifts that you simply can’t go wrong with. So, you know those extra picky people on your list? This is for them. I got some fabulous ideas for this at the Selfridges Christmas press day (watch the Vlog here and don’t forget to subscribe while you are there) and there are some true gems in this gift guide.

First up is the limited edition Touche Eclat. You would be hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t have this beauty staple in their makeup bag. But what’s better than re-stocking their Touche Eclat collection? Re-stocking it with a sparkly limited edition one. This is selling out fast but you can still grab one online here. Doing a secret santa with friends? This will hit the spot. I’m stockpiling these for those January birthday gifts, so I don’t have to step back in the shops.

My next go-to gift is cashmere socks from The White Company. My mum gets me a pair of these most years and they are so cosy and now totally on trend thanks to the Hygge concept that is popping up everywhere. They come in pretty pale pinks and creams and fall around the £35 mark. Perfect for your mother in law, your grandma or your bestie.

I couldn’t write a go-to gift guide without mentioning Jo Malone. Their limited edition Christmas range is divine this year and I’m obsessed with the Harlequin packaging. If you are looking for the perfect gift for your boyfriend, the cologne is always a winner and they have an incredible orange bitters fragrance out that is heavenly. If you can’t decide on a scent, this collection will make a handsome gift. You really can’t go wrong with their soaps either. They really are fail safe gifts.

You simply can’t beat gifts that come in a cracker. They make whatever is inside them seems extra special and you don’t have to wrap them! Bonus! My favourite cracker gifts are the ones that come with mini bottles of champagne in them like this Moet one. For a more affordable stocking filler cracker gift, this St Tropez bronzing oil is divine.

Louboutin lipsticks are also the ideal gift for hard to buy for beauty lovers. These look stunning on your dressing table and there is a gorgeous matte red velvet option as well as a glossy lip lacquer. The packaging ensures this gift will make an impact.

Do you know someone who has recently moved house or learned to drive? What about a lovely keyring? This Michael Kors one is incredible.

Doing a secret santa with the girls this year? This Charlotte Tilbury party eyes kit comes in a cute bauble style packaging.

I couldn’t do a go-to Christmas gift guide without including a fragrance and this Monsoon Rose Gold Parfum one is sublime. The rose gold packaging is so pretty and it’s on offer at Boots at the minute. You’re welcome!
