Victoria Secret Bronzing Shimmer Dry Oil

Victoria Secret Bronzing Shimmer Dry Oil

Have you tried the Victoria Secret Bronzing shimmer dry oil? On my recent trip to America, I managed to squeeze in a trip to Victoria Secret and I made my very first VS beauty purchase. With over seven different types of bronzer on the shelves, making my mind up was far from easy but I opted for something that wasn’t your average tanning lotion. If you have ever watched a Victoria Secret runway show you may have wondered how they achieve such a beautiful bronzed glow. I’m pleased to reveal that this gorgeous glow can be bought for just $15. Read on to find out how to tan like an angel…

Dry oils can be sprayed on in seconds and are easy to apply. Once shaken up, the oils mix with the bronzing element to create a luxurious tanning oil that creates the coveted Victoria Secret Angel glow. Like all Victoria Secret beauty products, this one is beautifully packaged but does it do what it says on the tin? Yes. The results are quite fabulous and it gives a glow that you won’t find when using a standard tanning lotion. The shimmer effect is stunning and you can use it to highlight your collar bones and cleavage or create the illusion of thinner thighs in just a few pumps.

Reasons to rate it:

  1. Easy peasy application
  2. It’s cheap and chic
  3. It’s instant

Reasons to hate it? I’m not going to lie, for me, this product does have a couple of downsides. It isn’t the worst fragrance I’ve experienced but it isn’t odourless. The smell is fairly strong and leaves a sickly sweet scent that lingers for a couple of hours after application. It also takes a while to dry.

As it’s an oil, this shimmering oil works best when applied over your usual fake tan as it is designed to create a glow not a deep bronzed tan. Have you tried the Victoria Secret Bronzing shimmer dry oil? Did you rate it, or hate it? Leave a comment or tweet me!  x
