Creme De La Mer Cleanser £55

So I may have treated myself to some new skincare products and it’s safe to say that my bank balance now has a large Creme De La Mer sized hole in it. Today my bathroom just got a little more glamourous. My fave Liz Earle Cleanser finally ran out this week and I fancied a little change. That’s right. I said the C word. I’ve heard nothing but great things about Creme De La Mer and after a recommendation from the lovely Cameron from A Londoner’s Closet while at No 1 Bootcamp, I decided to throw caution to the wind and invest. Cameron has supermodel worthy skin and swears by Creme De La Mer so as you can imagine, my face and I are impossibly giddy about trying their iconic cleanser. Did I mention the core ingredients were put together by an aerospace Physicist? Ces’t fancy non? At over £50 a pop it truly is a luxury but can you put a price on flawless skin?

Do you Covet Creme De La Mer?

Creme De La Mer have three cleansers in their range, a cleansing foam, a gel and a lotion. The best one for you will of course depend on your skin type. I have normal skin that leans towards the dry category so I opted for the lotion. It’s lightweight yet luxurious and smells divine. The packaging is beautiful and you really get the sense of feeling totally spoilt when you take off the lid. It erases eye makeup at the speed of light and is gentle on sensitive skin. I’ve only been using this for a couple of days but I’m interested to see how my skin responds to it. I’ll keep you posted with any progress on my search for that coveted supermodel glow. In other news, there is an upside to spending over and above on skincare. I got this delightful Fifi Lapin beauty bag filled with goodies! More on that from me later, right now I’m getting my cleanse on.

To be honest Hannah, I’m not a huge fan of it. I haven’t found that my skin has improved that much and it’s quite heavy. the toner is good though. x
