Say Goodbye to Cellulite this Summer

Whether you are jetting off somewhere fabulous this summer or planning a staycation you may have become preoccupied with your problem areas while digging out those little summer dresses. We all want Blake Lively’s endless pins but for some people no matter how much time and effort we put in to improving our bodies this is simply not going to happen. However, wouldn’t we all settle for legs that are silky smooth and cellulite free? Cellulite can affect everyone, whether you are a size 8 or a size 18 even Kim Kardashian has it! However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a cure. There are three main ways to achieve supermodel worthy legs.

  • Hit the gym-if you want to wave goodbye to cellulite, it’s time to put some serious hours in. Running, squats, lunges, Pilates and powerplate sessions are all great for busting cellulite.
  • Drinking more water can also help to flush out toxins while green tea can help to boost your antioxidant levels to detox your body.
  • If you really want to improve the texture of your skin body brush daily and invest in a great moisturiser.
  • Wear your size-if you want to look slimmer in your clothes, it is essential to wear your size. Squeezing into a smaller size will only highlight your flaws. Wearing a size up can help you to look better in your clothes and there are many plus size stores that can help you flaunt your curves in style. I choose plus size stores for swimwear as they cater for large chests without compromising on style. You can view all ranges of plus size fashion from your sofa with a cup of cellulite busting green tea.
  • Last but not least, this is a cellulite busting secret I have discovered recently and it has made a huge difference to my skin. Massaging essential oils into your skin after a shower is a great way to boost your circulation and leaves your skin baby soft. My mum has been making her own anti cellulite oil for years and I’ve decided to put it to the test.

The ingredients include:

Juniper berry
Fennel
Geranium Seed
Coriander seed
Grapeseed and rice bran oils

Now while these oils smell delicious, they are a tad strong so I would suggest should you decide to purchase your own that you use it at night before bed. And by this I mean if you don’t plan on being sexy. This is by far one of the un sexiest products I own. It’s that bad that I’m going to re-package mine because there isn’t anything unsexier to have in your bathroom than a bottle that screams ANTI-CELLULITE OIL!

My favourite thing about this potion is it is only £12. Unlike Liz Earle, Chanel and many other of my favourite beauty products the place that I get my cellulite busting oils made up spends very little on packaging as you may have noticed! If you want to try out this little gem you can find Aromatics just outside Leeds train station. What are your tips for demolishing cellulite? Let me know how your quest goes for smoother supermodel thighs! X

Powerplate! I’m hammering it in preparation for my wedding next year! Will also do more body brushing (I have a really hard Elemis one) and try the oil. Thanks x
