An Audience With Tamara Konstantin

If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen I had the honour of joining a select audience at The Four Seasons Hotel to celebrate the launch of Tamara Konstantin’s third album, Resilience, released by Lastman Music. Tamara was joined on stage with the incredibly talented violinist Elly Suh and world-renowned cellist Jiaxin Lloyd Webber, a trio she refers to as The Three Graces.

What an evening it was. After two years of restrictions, it was incredibly emotional and humbling to be able to enjoy live music again especially in the presence of such a talented pianist and composer. Stepping into the Rotunda Room at the Four Seasons Hotel was a wow moment in itself and the intimate stage and seating made it all the more special. The tracks on the Resilience album are incredibly personal and emotional, they represent the emotions that we’ve all felt during the lockdown and it was such a privilege to hear some of the tracks performed by Tamara herself. As Tamara and her piano trio took to the stage with a personal introduction it really felt like we were being treated to something that not many people get the opportunity to see.

Tamara greeted all of the guests personally and the thing that struck me first was just how humble she was for a performer that was so clearly talented. I was pleasantly surprised by how relaxed and inviting the event was despite the star-studded attendees.

We ate, we drank and we mingled and we got to preview one of the most exciting albums launching this year. A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Red Carpet Communications for the invite and the chance to be a part of something so unique and special.

Tamara Konstantin’s album Resilience is now available to download here. I urge you all to download it and see what all of the fuss is about! You don’t have to be a fan of classical music to enjoy the beautiful tracks, (From Georgia With Love is my favourite one of all) I’ve started listening to it in the car on a morning and it has transformed my nursery run (no more baby shark). It’s romantic, beautiful and idyllic to listen to and if you love romantic piano music, this is for you. Leave me a comment with your favourite track!
