Brunch of the Month: House of Koko

Brunch House of Koko

Brrrrr. It’s -2 and I’m currently wearing 4785 layers. You? If like me, all you really want to do throughout January is cosy up in a lovely little coffee house, this post is going to make you very happy indeed. Today I have a fabulous little post for you all about a sparkling gem of a brunch spot hidden away in Chapel Allerton. I’m a huge fan of brunch, so much so that I’ve created a new feature, Brunch of the Month to bring you the very best brunch spots in leeds. This place is cute as a button and perfect if you are on a budget (hello Jan spending ban) or if you are successfully sticking to your new year, new healthy lifestyle. Although, if you fancy a cheat day, oh my goodness have you come to the right place. If you live in or around Leeds, hot foot it to House of Koko, I promise you’ll thank me later!

House of Koko is a delightfully homely independent coffee (and tea) house that serves up pate after plate of delicious offerings from all kinds of avocado toast options to stacks of pancakes brimming with bananas and lashings of Nutella. Can you guess what I ordered?

House of Koko

This is one of my favourite new brunch spots and it’s the perfect place to hide away from the cold and catch up with friends. Everything on the menu is incredibly instagrammable and there is also a cake bar with lots of lovely vegan options. I couldn’t fit in even a morsel of cake after the epic pancake situ so I have the perfect reason to return and sample a slice. I visited House of Koko last weekend with the lovely Victoria from Apartment no 4 and I could have sat there chatting all day.

The whole space is interior goals. Green tea arrives in the cutest china teacups complete with a mini timer to ensure  you get the strength just right.

There were so many wonderful options on the menu that I’m already planning my return visit. I don’t know about you but that orange drizzle cake has my name all over it. I’ll be here until the sun decides to make an appearance. *orders another hot chocolate*

Have you tried House of Koko?

Who’s excited about my new Brunch of the Month feature?
