Buff Natural Body Care Scrub Review and Giveaway

So, exciting news! No I’m not pregnant (a disturbing amount of people have been asking me this lately and the picture of the Mama scrub on my Insta caused quite a stir). I’ve discovered a new beauty brand this month. Will it change your life? Probably not but it will give you oh so silky smooth skin in a flash and as far as body scrub goes, that’s all I need. Buff Natural Body Care kindly sent me five of their body scrub blends to try and there is one for every occasion. It has taken me an age to sample them all because I’m more of an exfoliate once a week kind of gal. Insert the *all my friends are having babies and I’m just here wondering which body scrub to use today* joke here. Before these little gems came along, I’d been using my regular body scrub (Frank body scrub in case you were wondering) morning, noon and night for all occasions so I was really intrigued to see how my skin would respond to using different blends at different times of day.

The first blend I tried out was the post workout blend which turned out to be my absolute favourite out of the whole range and I’d definitely buy this again when it runs out. No it doesn’t have the ability to magically scrub away that spare tire that has become rather fond of folding over your jeans but it will make you feel all energised and smug because the fact you are using it means you actually made it to the gym instead of just wearing your gym kit around the house. I always choose a bath instead of a shower after workouts so this scrub fits perfectly into my lifestyle. The scent is really invigorating which is just what you want after a tough gym session. It contains Cypress oil, Juniper Berry, lavender, coconut oil, vitamin E and sea salt to relax and soothe tired muscles. This product is now a regular bathing ritual on workout days.

The morning and evening blends are pretty self explanatory and do exactly what they say on the pot. The morning blend boasts energising properties due to the blend of eucalyptus and spearmint while the evening blend is designed to reduce stress levels and leave you feeling relaxed. Both of these scrubs smell divine and remind me of my favourite spa.

The Naked blend is my least favourite simply because of the scent. It contains nature’s aphrodisiac oils that promise to leave you feeling sexy which I love but if you don’t love the smell of sage this is a strong scent so this one may not be for you. However if you love powerful scents this may end up being your favourite out of the bunch.

The best thing by far about these scrubs apart from the fact that all of the ingredients are 100% natural of course is that they are really effective. The oil leaves your skin feeling silky and smooth while the sea salt polishes skin and is great for removing those last pesky traces of fake tan. The oil and scrub do tend to separate so I pop mine in the freezer for a few minutes before I use it.

So, a nice little addition to my beauty routine. The team at Buff Natural Body Care kindly included their Mama blend which I thought I would giveaway to one of my readers as it is safe for use in the second trimester and while breast feeding so if you are a mum yourself or you have a pregnant BFF, this giveaway is for you. To enter simply leave me a comment and I’ll choose a winner in a week’s time.

Have you tried Buff body scrubs? The super cute travel size is £8 and you can buy them online here. They also stock big sizes for scrub lovers. oh and one other thing. Buff Body Care encourage you to reuse your pots once they are empty and if you send them a picture of how you use yours and they feature it on their website, they will send their favourite a free 60ml pot! Cool huh?

What body scrubs can’t you live without and what do you love about the Buff body scrub range?

I have never used a body scrub, horror! Figured a loofah would suffice. Thanks for the recommendation.

I love a loofah and I also have a body brush too which works wonders on the thighs but you can’t beat a weekly exfoliation especially when tanning. x
