Last Saturday I spent the day having brunch with my mum and wondering around the gorgeous gift shops in Saltaire searching for a lovely engagement card. While searching for the card in question I stumbled upon this cute set of espresso cups by Emma Bridgewater.
I hadn’t set off with this in mind however, they were in the sale and so I skipped off to the till with the smug smile of someone who has found a bargain and the perfect thing to go with my new coffee machine. Besides they weren’t even for me but a great gift for my espresso loving boyfriend.
It was only later when I placed them carefully next to the coffee machine for my boyfriend to find that I was asked why he would want a set of candles that looked like espresso cups. Ooooooops. Another present for me then.
I’m pretty sure that once the candles have burned out we can use them as coffee cups right?
